| Gilbane Scholarship Program | |
Program Description :

Gilbane provides a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 after students have successfully completed a paid summer internship. The additional participating institutions are the following: Alabama A & M University, Florida A & M University, Hampton University, Jackson State University, Morgan State University, North Carolina A & T State University, Southern University and Tennessee State University.
The participating institutions within the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area and the state of Pennsylvania are the following: Drexel University, Pennsylvania State University, Temple University, University of Delaware, University of Pennsylvania and University of Pittsburgh. . Apply Online |

Program Description :

Gilbane provides a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 after students have successfully completed a paid internship.
Gilbane has a preference for majors in the field of civil engineering or construction engineering technology. Gilbane is also considering candidates from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Howard University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Pratt Institute, Rutgers University, Stevens Institute of Technology and Syracuse University. Toyota is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders within the automobile industry. Toyota has partnered with UNCF to provide scholarship opportunities to students at the targeted institutions. The selected recipients will receive a scholarship in the amount of $7,500. | Louisville:JCPS/UNCF Minor Daniels Scholarship | |
Program Description :

Employees of Jefferson County Public Schools (Louisville) are offering multiple, $20,000 scholarships to graduating seniors, $5,000 award to be disbursed for four years of post-secondary education. Eligible students must graduate from Jefferson County Public Schools in Louisville, KY by July 1, 2009 and attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Special consideration will be made for students majoring in education, and first member of family to attend a post-secondary school. | Sallie Mae Fund American Dream Scholarship | |
Program Description :

The Sallie Mae Fund is partnering with the United Negro College Fund to offer scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 to African American citizens, legal permanent residents or nationals of the United States who are enrolling full-time at an approved institution as defined as Title IV eligible, accredited, post-secondary two- or four-year college or university, vocational, or technical school in the United States or Puerto Rico for the 2009-20010 academic year.
