You can use this site to search through hundreds of scholarship and grant programs administered by the United Negro College Fund. You will have access to both UNCF SCHOLARSHIPS and scholarships administered by many other organizations. Use our ADVANCED SEARCH feature to find a scholarship program that matches your academic interests and career goals. As you search, you can APPLY ONLINE for a number of the UNCF scholarships.
If you are a student attending a UNCF member college or university, it is highly recommended that you complete the UNCF GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP application. Once a student completes a UNCF General Scholarship application, the information will be used to match you to many of the specific programs administered by UNCF. Should additional information be needed to complete your application for another UNCF scholarship, our online process will alert you of the additional information required to complete your application.
To be considered for a UNCF scholarship, you must meet certain basic eligibility requirements:
1. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
2. Students must have unmet need as verified by the university financial aid office
3. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA).
Please note, other eligibility criteria may be required for programs on the APPROACHING DEADLINE list .
If you have selected for a UNCF scholarship, students will receive an official award letter from UNCF. Students can also check the status of their application by logging onto the UNCF website and going to their individual Home Page.
